Our mission
The Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt recreates the warmth of a traditional German Christmas market in southern Indiana for all to experience and celebrates the spirit of Christmas by fostering community connections, supporting local vendors and organizations and creating a welcoming holiday experience for visitors and area residents of all ages through tradition and culture.
When and where
The vendor booths of the markt are open Saturday through Sunday the third full weekend of November across several venues in Ferdinand, Indiana. Admission is free and the event draws 10,000+ visitors annually. The weekend commences Friday evening with an opening ceremony and dinner.
What we provide
Vendors receive a booth space at an assigned site, listing on the markt website and printed map, shared promotion across our social channels and onsite support from the vendor committee throughout the weekend.
What you provide
You supply your own tables, display fixtures, signage, lighting and any extension cords you need. Vendors are responsible for staffing their booth for the full published hours of the markt.
